DJ Supply is a member-owned wholesale cooperation within the areas of plumbing and heating, steel and tools/technical articles. The company is owned by 43 independent wholesale companies.
The member companies' 74 points of sale and more than 700 employees are servicing craftsmen, the metal industry and other customers in Denmark, the Faroe Islands and Iceland. The combined sales are more than 2 billion DKK. See all points of sale under Members.
The main activity of DJ Supply A/S is to handle strategic purchasing for the member companies ensuring access to the right products at competitive prices. More services have been added through the years, among others invoicing, IT, stock cooperation, marketing, product master data, price updates and administration. The cooperation is basically a voluntary arrangement, but the members work more and more together in an obliged manner to appear as a reliable and long-termed business partner towards both suppliers and customers - able to market and supply quality products at competitive prices.
An essential element in the cooperation is the exchange of stock information among the members and the possibility via DJ Supply’s systems to place orders at each other. This forms a very strong customer service platform giving the customers access to a very wide range of products.
DJ’s office in Randers has no warehousing and thus no product handling. All deliveries are shipped directly from the suppliers to the individual member companies.
